Privacy policy

This policy explains what The Macs' Learning Co. collects through this website, why it is collected, and how you can ask for it to be removed.

Information you choose to provide

If you join the email list, the site stores your email address, optional first name, selected course interests, signup source, confirmation status, unsubscribe status, and the steps sent in the three-email series.

If you email [email protected], your message and reply information are handled through the email services connected to that address.

Orders and downloads

For direct purchases, we store your email address, order and payment reference, products purchased, amount, currency and order status. We keep access records so we can deliver your resources. Download records include the product, time, file size and browser user-agent information to help investigate delivery problems. Card details are handled by Stripe.

Optional resource ratings

If you rate a purchased resource from your download library, we store your purchase email, product, star rating, optional feedback and submission dates. We use this feedback to improve our resources. Ratings and feedback are private and are not automatically published as reviews. Submitting a rating does not subscribe you to marketing email. You can update your rating through the same library link or contact us to request its removal.

How the information is used

When you follow a tagged promotion, this browser tab temporarily remembers its source, medium and campaign labels as you browse. If you purchase, those labels are saved with the order and sent to Stripe so we can understand which promotions help teachers find us. This feature does not create a visitor identifier or collect your full browsing URL or referrer.

We also count aggregate page views, purchase-button clicks, and successful openings of Stripe Checkout. These records contain the page path, product number, time, and any campaign labels. They do not contain a visitor identifier, cookie, email address, IP address, full query string, or referrer. Paid orders remain the source of truth for sales.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website, processes form requests, stores email list, order and private rating records, and forwards inbound email. Resend delivers confirmation, receipt, and list email. Stripe handles checkout and payment details, which never reach this site.

Choices and deletion

Every list email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future list email immediately. You may also email [email protected] to ask what list information is associated with your address or to request deletion.

Data sales and student information

The Macs' Learning Co. does not sell email list information. This website is for teachers and is not designed to collect student information. Please do not submit student names, student work, or other private student information.

Retention

Confirmed and unsubscribed records may be retained to respect email preferences and prevent unwanted sends. Direct messages are retained only as long as they are useful for the conversation, support, or ordinary business records.
